Its been nearly a year since I purchased my own domain, but I’ve yet to put in any real effort in actually developing it. And what better time to start than now? Yes? So in my efforts to better manage myself, I would like to challenge myself to blog, on a regular basis, despite the amount of work I have on hand. This is not to say that my studies isn’t my top priority (it is, else why would I be here) but I have come to realise that you always have time. There might not be a lot of it, but if planned accordingly I can make it work in my favour – by way of blogging, I would really get to improve my writing skills, which has deteriorated over the years. This would also coincide with another new years resolution I plan on making a habit: taking photos using a proper camera.
Its undeniable that phones have taken over the role of cameras for most people, and although I love the instantaneous result I achieve from pointing my phone towards a subject and photographing it, the few times I would go back to my camera I am reminded of why cameras are a lovely lovely thing to have around. It is also worth mentioning that I’ve replaced my former Olympus Pen E-P2 for an Olympus OMD EM-5 and it would be such a waste to not fully utilise my money’s worth.
This is turning out to be such a random post, highly reminiscent of the ones I used to have on my Blogspot. THE POINT IS… I will be blogging at least once a week starting now. Its not a lot, but I believe I should set possible goals for myself.
