Spring is easily my favourite season out of the four – and it has always been that way. It is when the weather is perfectly cold and warm all at the same time. Granted, some days are gloomy what with the infamous April showers but it beats the freezing cold winter days. However, I despise Spring almost as much as I love it, because I am always overtaken with the desire to be skipping / cycling in the outdoors than spending time where I should be; at my desk, doing work. It really is no surprise that my marks plummet a little towards the end of the year…
But can you blame me?
And certainly, how could anyone possibly resist the idea of laying down on warm freshly cut grass and fading into a state of semi-consciousness beneath the clear blue sky while the cool breeze whips itself gently against your skin and the sun’s radiance bounce off the surface of your sunglasses.
But alas, I need to stay strong and refrain from ever allowing myself to fall for the heavenly, yet deadly trap that is Springtime.
